Step 1
JMS and/or Assessor identify a suitable routine, clinical task.
Step 2
Assessor observes JMS performing all or part of this task.
Step 3
JMS completes self-assessment/self-reflection regarding performance.
Step 4
Assessor uses entrustability scale to identify level of supervision intern needs for that task.
Step 5
Assessor and JMS Feedback discussion: Identifies a few opportunities for development.
Monash Health EPA Requirements
There are four EPA categories (see below).
Each Intern must complete at least four EPAs per term (one from each of the four categories, at least one by a Consultant).
One of these must be completed prior to Mid-Term Assessments.
All 4 must be completed in order to pass the End-of-Term Assessment
